About the Role:

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our food service operations, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and customers. This position is responsible for efficiently cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support smooth daily operations. The Dishwasher contributes to the overall customer experience by ensuring that all items are properly sanitized and ready for use in a timely manner. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to handle repetitive tasks and maintain consistent quality. Ultimately, the Dishwasher helps uphold the company’s commitment to health regulations and operational excellence within the management of our enterprise.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical capability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions without loss of efficiency.
• Demonstrated reliability with regular and punctual attendance.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitization procedures.
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and follow detailed instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and work surfaces.
• Sort and properly dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks and restocking supplies when necessary.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health department standards.
